  • Jacob Charney is Managing Partner of CharneyBrown, where he leads the firm's Oil & Gas title practice. Licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio, Jacob brings a breadth of experience and knowledge across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to Oil & Gas title, his practice includes estate planning and representing clients in probate proceedings and litigation.

    In addition to his practice, Jacob is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he teaches Oil and Gas Law and Mineral Title Examination.

  • Benjamin Brown is Managing Partner of CharneyBrown, where his practice focuses on Energy Law and representation before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. Benjamin began his career in the energy industry as a revenue accountant before transitioning into land work while attending law school, giving him firsthand experience with the operational and regulatory issues facing energy companies. Today, he draws on that industry background to represent clients in complex matters before the OCC and advise energy companies navigating Oklahoma’s regulatory environment.

Anthony’s multidisciplinary experience allows him to approach matters with perspective across property, energy, estate, contractual, and insurance-related issues.

  • Rami Jabara is Of Counsel at CharneyBrown, where his practice focuses on Oil, Gas & Mineral Law, estate planning and probate, title examination and due diligence, and Real Estate. Licensed in Oklahoma and Texas, Rami advises individual clients on estate and probate matters and corporate energy clients on complex title and operational issues. His background in accounting and Division Order analysis provides additional perspective in large-scale due diligence projects and the preparation of Division Order Title Opinions involving complex units, tracts, townsites, and multi-section units. Rami also has a strong interest in using technology to improve efficiency and the delivery of legal services. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Jenna, an immigration attorney, and their daughter, Genevieve.
